HOW DO I GET THERE AND IS PARKING AVAILABLE?
Carousel is accessible by car, Uber, or public transport.
There’s plenty of ticketed parking available on-site. The parking rates are as follows:
Monday to Friday: $5.60 per hour from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm,
and a $5.60 flat rate after 5:00 pm.
But if you’re planning to have a few drinks (as you should), we’d recommend a ride-share or taxi. Carousel staff are ready to assist in arranging transportation for guests by calling a Taxi or Uber service, with convenient drop-off points located directly in front of the venue.
WILL TRAFFIC BE BAD?
The ceremony is during peak hour, so please allow extra travel time — especially if you’re coming from across the city.
We’d hate for anyone to miss the good stuff, so plan ahead, check for road closures, and leave a little buffer just in case.
WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
No problem! You can let us know any dietary needs when you RSVP — gluten-free, vegetarian, halal, etc. We've worked with the venue to make sure everyone will be well taken care of.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
This will be a mostly adults-only celebration, with the exception of a few close family members and friends who have already been spoken to directly.
We hope you can take the evening to relax, celebrate, and let loose with us!
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Unless your invitation specifically names a guest, we’re keeping it intimate and won’t be offering plus-ones. We wish we could include everyone, but we’re limited by space — thank you for understanding!
WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
We’ve kept everything in one location, so there’s no travel needed. There will be canapés and drinks while we sneak away for some photos, and then we’ll head into the reception together.
IS EVERYTHING HAPPENING AT THE SAME VENUE?
Yes! The ceremony, drinks, and reception will all take place at Carousel — no travel needed between events. Just bring yourselves (and maybe some dancing shoes).
IS IT OKAY TO POST PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
DURING THE CEREMONY we kindly ask that you keep your phones tucked away — we’ve got a professional photographer and videographer capturing the moment, and we want everyone fully present with us.
DURING THE RECEPTION, post away! We’d love to see your photos and stories — feel free to tag us!
WILL THERE BE ASSIGNED SEATING?
Yes — there will be a seating plan for the reception dinner, and we promise we’ve done our best to seat you with people you’ll enjoy (or at least tolerate with wine )
IS THERE A GIFT REGISTRY?
Your presence is all we ask for on our special day.
But if you’re thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way,
a contribution to our future would really make our day.
We’ll have a wishing well on the day for anyone who’d like to gift in this way.
I WANT TO WEAR HEELS - IS THE VENUE HEEL FRIENDLY?
Yes — the whole venue is paved and indoors, so heels and dress shoes are totally fine. That said, comfort is key if you're planning to hit the dance floor.
IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The CEREMONY will be held outdoors (weather permitting), so sunglasses and light layers are a good idea.
The RECEPTION will be indoors, so once we’re done soaking up the sunshine and vows, we’ll head inside for dinner, drinks, and dancing.
